Event: Genova Figurines Empire 2013 - Genova (ITA) - Reportage

On the weekend between the 4th and the 5th May there was the event "Genova Figurines Empire 2013" organized by the guy of the local club "Luci & Ombre" and the Milan club "AMIS".

As Hysteria Yard Team there were present Kraan that is a members of the club AMIS, for the occasion in the role of photographer and Amon Chakai, as a participant in the contest.

In this contest the turnout of members was interesting, calculating that are in their second edition, about 450 pieces subscribed.

Let's read the views of Kraan and Amon about this event:

"..For this contest I was coopted with my club in the coadiuvation of the organizers. I was given, or more precisely I offered myself, the task of doing the photos for the awards.
It had been an herculean task, eventhough the awards were only around 90-100.
I arrived home the Sunday evening with a renewed respect for those who, behind the scenes, work incessantly taking pictures for the Official Reportage.
Those instead that take photos before the organizations and wants the first pass should perish in the depth of Modelling Hell with Finecast!!!
Respect for the Official photographers! .."

"..It was a nice contest that organized by “Luci ed Ombre” of Genoa with the collaboration of AMIS of Milan.
It had been 2 days with nice people and other modellers from all around Italy and a few from France.
The exhibition/contest held a nice number of pieces and the quality was very high especially in the Fantasy part of the contest.
The vendors were quite a good number and with lots of different products.
The location, the Hotel Sheraton in front of the airport, was very good. Ample room with the pieces and the vendors all inside.
The real drawback was how the models were shown and placed, really confusing. I believe today all contest should be held with the Display formula so to help judges in judging and giving more space to the painters.."
