And here we are, a little bit in late, to say a few words about the competition "Un mondo in Miniatura" that took place last weekend in Faenza (ITA)
Un mondo in Miniatura, is a "small" contest, which gave us two really intense and interesting days.
We are joking that is small, because in the end we counted almost 300 pieces on contest (at least a hundred above average, but we are waiting for the precise details) not counting the display of collections and displayed pieces by the hosting club.
We can say that also this year has been a weekend based miniatures and food, thanking Ivan Isola, Marco Cavina and Davide Lanzoni for nice availability.
A competition purely historical (I was pointed out), but that in turn has left a good visibility for fantasy. From a single category, the organizers were able to divide master and standard, a little step but appreciated.
Interesting notes of the event, the little gathering of LegioPictorum guys, as always, gave moments of hilarity and the wonderful acrylics painting demonstration by Mike Blank supported by momentary translation by Fabio Nunnari (boys if you were present and I will have missed, it's really worse for you).
